Principal and Co-Founder

Mr. Hammad co-founded MAGNUS Management Group with Cristina Garcia Cuesta in 2005. Mr. Hammad is a Senior Information Security Consultant, with in-depth expertise in information assurance design/evaluations of networks, Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) and Federal Information System Controls Audit Manual (FISCAM) compliance and Certification and Accreditation. He has served the following organizations in this capacity: Department of Justice, Department of State, Department of Navy, Department of Army, Department of Health and Human Services, and many commercial organizations. He has performed risk management assessment activities for deployed security technologies (IDS, VPNs, Firewalls, etc.), performed vulnerability scanning of networks, and provided detailed written analysis reports. Mr. Hammad has also conducted research and analysis related to newly arising network based security threats, intrusion detection systems, firewalls, and other security related issues. Mr. Hammad is a Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP), Information System Security Management Professional (ISSMP), Information System Security Architecture Professional (ISSAP) Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), NSA Information Assurance Methodology (IAM) certified and holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Management of Science, Technology and Innovation from George Washington University, and a Bachelors of Science in Decision Sciences and Management Information Systems from George Mason University. Mr. Hammad is a member of the Information Systems Security Association.

Principal and Co-Founder

Ms. Garcia Cuesta co-founded MAGNUS Management Group with Raed Hammad in 2005. She has extensive experience with government contracting, international business and business analysis. She is a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) that received training in multiple government and non-government applications through out the course of her career. Ms. Garcia Cuesta received a Bachelors of Science degree in Decision Science and Management Information Systems from George Mason University with a minor in Information Technology. She has served organizations such as: the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) the Patent and Trademark Office Federal Credit Union (PTOFCU), United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). Her ability to learn computer software utility as well as multiple languages is an example of her versatility to adapt to new situations and new government and nongovernmental requirements. Ms. Garcia Cuesta has provided full project management analysis to her clients. Her duties have ranged from software analysis and implementation to business process analysis.
